Thanks to Angel and the gang she's learned to hold her own in battle more with melee weapons than anything else. It's the type of combat that she's used to. On top of all of that she's a really good inventor. Skilled in the ways of making things or helping their progress along. Personality A quiet girl who is very much into science. Shy and outspoken during certain situations. Her family and friends mean the world to her. Unfortunately she also holds a curiosity that often times gets her into trouble. There's also a trustworthiness to her. Something that just makes everyone trust her with their most important secrets. And she is anything if not loyal. Especially when it comes to a cause that she believes in or to friends/family she cares greatly for. History Born to Trish and Roger Burkle, she was a sweet Texan girl. Someone who wanted bigger and better things in life. Which is why she went to UCLA in order to graduate. Taking on a history major around that time, more like when she became a librarian she ended up in another dimension. A place known as Pylea. There she was called a "cow" which in human terms would've been a slave. She was there for the longest time until she was found by Angel and his gang. It took a bit but she eventually became integrated into society again. Along the way she becomes attached to Wesley and Gunn, gaining feelings for both of them. Though because of her shy nature she doesn't really persue either. After a bit the gang ended up taking over Wolfram and Hart. There she became head of their science department. There she was known as someone that Angel went to quite a bit when a problem arose that he couldn't figure out. It was her science that helped figure things out. Then there was the 'coffin'. Well... sarcophagus that she touched because of it's inate beauty and because of her curiosity. In doing so she released something VERY old. Something that would later riddle her body with immense pain. And in turn would drag out Illyria. Personality Strong and willful she is a force to be reconed with. More times than naught she sees humans and half breeds as below her. She speaks her mind when she wishes to not caring what the consequences are. Used to being a leader of many she can get rather bossy. Things needing to be her way or no way at all. On top of all of that she's becoming more... human so to speak from being around the half breed and his people. It's something she's learning in order to blend in. Something she's managing to do at an alarming rate. Despite not caring for those lower than her, she holds those close to her as if they were hers and would do everything to protect them. Her loyalty truly lies with herself but she also extends it to those she's recently gotten close to. And it helps that her 'shell' trusted them and was loyal to them as well. History Illyria is a God-King. Someone who back in her own time commanded an army of demons. Demons who would take out her rivals. Many of her people loved her but at the same time feared her. Though when she was killed she was placed in a stone coffin that was imbedded with jewels. It was those jewels that her powers were placed within. Then her sarcophagus was placed in a place known as the Deeper Well along with other Old Ones. But she wasn't about ready to allow herself to remain dead. Her coffin was sent to the Angel crew by her high priest, Knox. And with that, her reign would finally return. Needless to say that wasn't how it was going to go. Despite being brought back, she was brought to the present day. Taking over the body of one Winifred Burkle. In doing so she managed to anger quite a few people. And in turn she tried to open a portal to her own world because she'd had every intention of bringing forth her demonic army. Only problem was they were dead. After some consideration she became part of Team Angel. Though harboring some of her 'shells' memories, she resented it almost. Though she did what she could to help. In the end, she fought the dragon. Made sure that things on Earth were safe. Or at least LA. After Hell literally opened up, she protected her own. But something unseen happened. A portal opened up and from that portal came someone from her own world. A demon that saw her as its opponent. As someone that needed to be taken down a notch. Fighting ensued but she didn't allow Angel to help. In the end the demon served the blow that would kill the once great God King. [Illyria nor Fred is not mine.
